I’m in the last stage of my official training to become a certified professional coach.

I’ve finished the in-class course work and have now moved into the practicum.

I’m currently practicing at a discounted rate and my rates will double once practicum is completed.

So if you’re interested in …

  • achieving your goals faster then ever
  • taking your personal and professional life to the next level
  • or just trying to figure out what your life’s dream might be

… send me an email at ronatfocusedfooldotcom.

FYI … This is on top of my current certification as a Master NLP Practioner and Master Ericksonian Hypnosis Practioner.

… end sales pitch :)

Work time

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

One of my first tasks today was to design my working time schedule.

I found that during the summer it was unclear for me and my family what was work time and what was home time.

Interruptions happened often and it just frustrated everyone.

So … in an effort to keep everyone sane my wife and I came up with the following work time rules.

1) During a regular day (Monday to Friday) working from home

  • Official work time is Monday to Friday from 7am to 2pm
  • Family time is from 2pm to 7pm
  • Un-official work time from 7pm until 11ish (when I go to bed)

2) Official work time is reserved for those specific activities that will grow my business like:

  • Marking efforts
  • Sales calls
  • Providing coaching and training services
  • Business planning
  • Writing content (books, ebooks, articles, e-zine, etc)
  • Personal development (need to limit this one)
  • Balance the books and other cashflow related work

3) Un-official work time is for those things that I like to explore, play with and fine tune:

  • Enhancing features on website
  • Designing logos
  • Exploring content on the web

4) No email / phone calls during family time

5) When I’m out of the home all day (working / training) then no work that evening (not even email)

6) During official work time I get dressed up and go to work (even if working from home)

7) I don’t do any personal stuff during work time (I don’t even answer our home line)

Family has agreed to respect work time and I have agreed to respect family time.

This should make life easier for everyone.
